  1. Curricula recommendations would probably be a welcome post, as would local (OH) homeschool field trip ideas.

  2. Reflections from a veteran homeschooler (blog idea). Thanks!

  3. Having never done an assessment, a list of what you need to complete one would be nice!

  4. Maybe sample comments that you offer? Just to give people an idea of what an assessment is like?

  5. http://ohiohomeschool.blogspot.com/p/portfolio-assessments.html Here is a link to the forms I use. They tell you what you need in a portfolio for me. Great question! I could also post maybe on how to save or ways to organize. Great idea.

I will look into what I say as well. Great idea! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!!

  6. I really enjoy a sample of a day in the life of homeschooling multiple children... maybe a day that did not go at all as planned! Perhaps a few tricks you've learned to keep yourself sane/mentally flexible/ready to laugh at how your plan went out the window.

Thank you Becky for your giveaway!

*May I also recommend Becky HIGHLY for anyone considering assessment this year. Last year was my first year of homeschooling and I am so grateful for finding Becky – her help through the assessment and her comments were a blessing and a relief!

  9. Having homeschooled my daughter for 2 years now, we've had some major life events that put a screeching halt to our homeschooling routine for up to 2 months.....like I said, they were pretty major. I think it would be great to see some tips on homeschooling through major changes, tragedies, ect... and how to get back on track once things return to normal.

  10. Maybe a post about the things you actually need to keep. I feel like I am swimming in papers, but I'm afraid to get rid of any or if.

  12. i am so glad i found your site. i just moved to ohio and we are homeschooling our children. they went to a public school last year in California. I am just trying to make sure i do everything legal for Ohio. My daughter is 8 which means that she needs to turn in the assessment so I am trying to figure all of that out and it looks like you have great resources on your blog so thank you.

  14. Thank you for the comments. Homeschooling through major events is a great idea! We have an Autistic child with many other issues, so that is what I do--homeschool through many crises. What you actually need to keep is another fabulous idea! Thank you. The day in the life of seems to be popular. I will have to try that. Thanks for the compliments on the resources on the blog. I really appreciate you taking the time to give input. Thank you!!!
