Large Family Logistics My New Favorite Book!

I am one of those people who always has a "cause" going.  This is my latest--  Large Family Logistics: The Art and Science of Managing a Large Family.  I love this book.  I like organization and want an orderly home.  I just was never quite sure how to pull it off, and still have time for other things.
Through the years I have picked up some tips, and made some headway, but honestly I felt like I was not sure what to do next.  I felt like my days were scattered and I really did not have a good plan for keeping the house neat consistently.  It was easy to blame it on having too many little kids, having special needs kids, being pregnant, being in the middle of an adoption, autism, therapies,  homeschooling. .. .etc.  You get the picture.  There was always something that kept me from having a well ordered home.  I ended up "binge" cleaning every once in awhile.
Looking back, I really did not have a good plan.  I have read other books on organization, but none of them have helped me like Large Family Logistics.   I now have a plan each day.  I am on top of my laundry, our house is getting cleaner, I am gradually organizing cupboards and drawers, and I have time to make yogurt! (Need I say more :-)
The first part of the book is more philosophical and the second part is more "how to."   There is even a special section if you are in dire straits.  I am implementing as I go and still reading the book.  It is a hardcover book with 318 pages. The author, Kim Brenneman, has a blog called Large Family Logistics that is helpful as well.

PS: I do  not know Kim and was motivated purely by goodwill to write this.  :-)
PPS: The Amazon link also has some good reviews of the book that I found helpful and goes into more details.
